Strong Dance Studios proudly presents our TWELFTH annual Nutcracker - 2024!
This year we are thrilled to feature a returning crowd favorite option for young Clara and Clara “en pointe,” the Grand PCas De Deux (Clara and Cavalier) and the Codas for Cavalier and Sugar Plum! We will also feature an all en pointe rendition of Marzipan again because our Pointe program has blossomed to an unbelievable 36 dancers!
You won’t want to miss out on this spectacular event. All ages welcome at Audition, ALL auditioning dancers are granted roles.

A little about the show...
Our show is fully coordinated for you, including costume changes handled by our expert team of backstage parent volunteers so if they would like to perform all of their dances, they should! Recitals take place every season, usually in June and December at the end of each season (Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter). They are your dancer’s opportunity to showcase the skills they have learned all season in a professionally produced show. They are the best opportunity we can provide to Build Confidence with an on-stage experience.
In order for the shows to run smoothly and efficiently and keep them at a reasonable length, we run multiple shows. Typically each show will have a run-time that does not exceed two hours. The dances you will see have been in the works for five months or more, so this is a great accomplishment of which our dancers should be proud! We purchase costumes and rehearse until the show. During this time it is important that your dancer is present in all of their performing classes.
This winter we will feature 3 separate Recital performances and 2 Nutcracker shows on Saturday and Sunday evening. Casts to be determined. Dress Rehearsal for Nutcracker ONLY will be held Friday, prior to the performance, at the theatre.
FOR INJURY PREVENTION PURPOSES:
A proper warm-up is key for injury prevention.
If your dancer has a Nutcracker Rehearsal, please have them warm-up before coming to rehearsals. Dancers will not be warmed up during their ballet rehearsal with the exception of dancers en pointe.

Transportation issues, parties, vacation/weekend trips, concerts, school events (Unless it will affect the student’s grade).
Missed rehearsal fee: $15.00 There will be no make-up rehearsals this season
